Light Rover
Students will design an experiment to answer a question about light on a new planet. Students will present their experiment idea to the class. Students will answer a question about light on the new planet by completing one of the student-designed experiment
4. Gather Baseline Data
Gather baseline data for the light sensor.
- Determine five different locations or conditions within your classroom where there are different levels of light. Write the name of each location/condition in the chart on the student handout.
- Move your GoPiGo to the first location/condition.
- Take three readings of the light level and record each on the chart below.
- Calculate the mean average for that location.
- Repeat that process for the other three locations/conditions.
